I had a scropt running with the voice command "stream camera bedroom kids to hub camera" and a other script that gave command "stream dog camera on hub" this always worked perfect and both camera streams where shown on the desired hubs gen2. Now since about 24 hours this stopped working out of nothing. Also if I give the command directly by voice on the hub itself, or if it give the command on my phone's Google assistant it not works and I get this message "Sorry, it looks like the stream is currently unavailable from the Bedroom Kids." and "Sorry, it looks like the stream is currently unavailable from the Dog Camera." When I check in my Google home app both these cameras work, as do my other 5 Google camera's, also I can access my camera's through the home control section of my hubs and my Google chromecasts with TV.
I already tried basic things like device reboots and network reboot, any help please because I rely on these automated scripts to work!

I'm getting the same message on both my hubs, I guarantee there was an update pushed out. This happened about a year ago and broke both. Here we go again

Yes most likely they changed something on side of Google. Hope they fix it soon, it takes away the use if you can not stream your cameras using scripts or voice commands through Google assistant.

Hello folks,
Thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community Forum. I’m sorry to know you’re experiencing issues trying to stream your cameras on your Nest Hub 2nd gen via voice command using the Google Assistant. No worries; it’s a pleasure to be able to assist you.
I'd like to ask you a few questions in order to gather more information and find the best way to fix it.
I'll look forward to your response.
Best regards,
Daniel

Hi Daniel, it started working again after few days just as much out of nothing that it did stop working, now a month later again it suddenly stopped working. Exactly same issue as a month ago. I not made any changes then and I not did now, all I ask in the automation is to run the voice command to start camera stream on desired hub, I am registered to the public preview program and use the latest app update.

Yea, here we go again. Mine stop working also, its been working for a couple of years and just stop working again on my two nest hubs. Works with voice command, this is about the third time in the last couple of years. I think its on the google/nest servers on the back end. Its not translating the command right... Shaking my head

Daniel - the issue is not on the end of the (end) user, but rather on Google's end. Granted, it's always helpful to rule out something on our end, but this has ALL THE HALLMARKS of yet another "Google Goof"... I experienced something very similar to this a couple/few months back, and after a couple of days all was right with the world again 😉

Getting the message -- Looks like stream is unavailabe from driveway, Works with voice
Wednesday
Yes same also get the looks like stream is unavailable, only way it works is to give voice command directly to the hub you wanna watch the stream on, if I give voice command to google assistant on my phone or to one of my nest mini's it still give me the stream is unavailable message
Wednesday
Ah, yes - I see that now. I can stream it on my hub, still not my Google TV though. The Google Assistant "is a dingbat". I can say, over and over, "Google, STREAM (blank)", and she does not know what I'm talking about. As soon as I say SHOW (blank), she replies with something along the lines of "ok, STREAMING (blank)". ugh
Wednesday
I just through my two hubs in the garbage. Got tired of the routines working on and off. Bought an all in one HP compter (400 bucks) and now just have go to the nest site with two different browsers to display my front door and drivewas. Use the picture in picture to display on the large screen. LOT better
Wednesday
Does this still gonna work, or do I have 6 camera's that got useless as I not can use them anymore in scripts/automations?
Thursday
Good Luck with that, I read an article that after 10 years how the Nest/Google merger is still a big MESS.
Apperently the two shops don't work well together. If the Hub's Wifi would not drop so often you would not need the routines, or at least when it does drop it dosen't default to the home screeen
I had routines for my driveway and front door every 15 miniutes. That was ok as long as the routines worked. I've been using a new HP all in one computer to dislay my cameras now is it works good. I just go the the google home and pull up my cameras on two different browsers using picture in a picture.
