Still can't create a clip unless Google recognizes it as an event

Major miss from Google Nest that I'm seeing.

1) I pay for the 24/7 Nest Aware Plus Subscription (which I could only find in the Nest App, not on Google Play and Not on the Google Home Settings since that just points you to the Phone Settings on Pixel 7Pro) in addition to Google One and YouTube TV so over 1k/year to G

2) I wanted to share a video of the earthquake and my alarm going off.  Found out we cannot create video clips using the Google Nest Cam's and the Google Home App.  They only allow you to save recognized events. TOTAL MISS and can't believe this is still not possible.

3) Where's the 15 second fast forward or rewind button or double click on the video shortcut.  The only option in the Home App is to go to the next event. So when I want to go to a specific point in a video and I lift my finger the video plays at a totally different spot.

4)I'm not going to buy the doorbell or additional cameras since this is not possible.  Please send recomendations.

Agreed. The app is complete and utter garbage. It's unintuitive, critical functions are absent or hidden in a submenu, or simply do not work as expected, or in a limited fashion. This is one of them. And overall, the app is MUCH worse than the Nest app that it replaced and there are several important bugs that I have reported that have not yet been fixed.

Screen record on iPhone works, I guess. And I had to resort to that a few times now.

Honestly the only reason I put up with this, is because the hardware is better than most, and the notifications are much more accurate than the competition.
