I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the Google Nest Doorbell Camera. Last night, at approximately 1:30 AM, a complete stranger knocked on my door. The individual remained at my doorstep for over 10 minutes, and despite the presence of my Google Nest Doorbell Camera, the recorded footage is insufficient to identify or deter the intruder.
The camera only captured a mere 17 seconds of the incident, and I am unable to access the other two clips for reasons that remain unclear. This is a serious safety concern, as a functioning doorbell camera is essential for deterring and identifying potential threats.
I urge Google to investigate this matter immediately and take steps to ensure that their products are reliable and effective in protecting homeowners.
Google let me and my family down last night and I promise Google will let you and your family down too. I purchased all this Google junk to protect my family if I'm not home. The individual was standing there for over 10 minutes! After calling the local authorities they captured them a few blocks from my home. It was 2 of them both with violent criminal backgrounds.
