Take longer time to charge only 76% charged over 48 hour

Take longer time to charge. Put charge on Friday 25/03/23 11 AM (AET), only 76% charged over 48 hour. Last time it took only maximum 5 hours for full charge. Try to raise case with GOOGLE support the phone line disconnected 2 times.

thanks @AndroiFy, already try to call google nest help after filling with all necessary details. The call was cut off with apologies voice message. Case also created however I couldn’t see any updates from @google @googlesupprt

Hello everyone,

@SGnani, thanks for reaching out and for sharing what happened. To confirm, are you referring to your Nest Doorbell (battery)? If so, To help prolong the life of your Nest Doorbell's battery, it will only charge to 75% if your Nest Doorbell is wired to the doorbell system. Before you install your Nest Doorbell, you can use the USB cable to charge the battery above 75%. However, after your Nest Doorbell is wired to the system, the battery will drop down to 75% and stay at that level or below. Hit this link for more information.

Hi Emerson,

thank you for the reply.
1. My Nest doorbell battery only.

2. Not connected to the power.

3. Previous when I using USB cable and pulled in it charged fully within 5-7 hours.

4.on 23/03  I received notification of lower battery 7%. Using same use cable and try to charge it took over 48 hours to complete 76%.

5.I am not able to see the charging indicator on the Nest Doorbell (battery)

looks like battery fault!

Hi @EmersonB , thanks for the reply and help. It is Nest Doorbell (battery)  and not wired. In the past 2 times it was fully charged within 3-5 hours. Last time not fully charged and taken number of days to reach 76%.
