The Talk & Listen feature in Google Home for Nest Doorbell (battery) and Nest Cam (battery) does not work as it should on Samsung phones.
Why are moderators locking threads on this unresolved topic?
Google have confirmed that there is an issue but have failed to offer a solution or provide an expected date for a solution to be released.
Moderators are complaining that there are multiple threads on this topic but that is happening because moderators keep locking the threads. A suspicious person might think that Google are deliberately locking threads because they do not want the talk and listen problem to be given widespread covereage.

Pleased to report that the latest update to Google Home (Version 2.50.1.7) has resolved the talk and listen problem on my Nest Doorbell Battery and all 3 of my Nest Cam Battery units. The volume could be louder but visitors can now hear me talk when I use Google Home on my Samsung S21. Thanks to all the members who contributed to this thread and the others about this problem. I would like to think it pushed Google to issue the necessary fix after several years of them ignoring the problem.

Ye, i posted a new thread about a week agao. no replys and finaly found a locked thread with no solution or explanation - just an obvious problem. i bought 2 Google hub Max devices that only work with iphones. im not buying my family iphones to use this feature, which was the whole point.
i bought my eldery mother one - to help her in her doatage. now she has a fancy photo frame.
