Bit of a weird one, but my nest camera(Battery) and Doorbell (battery) are not outputting any of the talk and listen sessions or quick responses through the speakers on the devices.
I've tried on my Pixel Pro 7 and a Pixel 2 XL, on the beta version of the app and the normal version.
Microphone permissions are there, so not sure what's happening
The doorbell is also plugged in and powered, no chimes as we use hubs.
Everything else seems to be fine.
I tried it at another home I have setup and the talk and listen works fine on the same model of camera

Just noticed as well the "Ding dong" when pressing the bell doesn't come out of the physical doorbell either....
My other camera is fine now, just hte doorbell playing up.

Hey there,
Thank you for bringing up the concern you're experiencing, I would love to look into this further for you. The first troubleshooting step that I'd recommend would be to restart your device. This process should keep all your settings, and reconnect it to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever freezes, has connection problems, or isn't working normally.
Best regards,
Brad

Hello everyone,
@Baronoli it's us again. I'm bumping up this thread to ensure that everything is covered here. To know more about this, we'd like to confirm, did this issue occur out of the box? If not, when did you notice the problem? Is the audio issue persistent or intermittent? If intermittent, how often does it happen? Has the camera suffered any drops or impacts?
Give these steps a try:
You may check these links for your reference.
Talk and listen with Nest camera or doorbell
Change Nest camera and doorbell audio settings
Looking forward to your response.
I appreciate the help, Brad.
Thanks,
Emerson

Hi Ebedia,
The door has been installed for just over 1 year, it did work before and not sure when it stopped, but someone pressed the doorbell and I tried to talk and they couldn't hear me, nor did my quick respones come out. It is constantly not working for push to talk, responses and the bell doesn't even make a "ding dong" sound when pressed. It is wired and never been dropped.
I have tried the app settings. I have 2 other homes I'm a member of and the doorbells work fine on them for responses. It makes me think the doorbells speaker is defective if it doesn't even make a "ding dong" or a "quick response" from the speaker.
I have tried a factory reset, restarting it and reinstalling the app/doorbell and nothing is fixing this 😞
Thank you
