The title says it all. The home app is clunky and does not provide quality quick previews like it did with the Nest app. My sister and i both had the Nest app for thermostat and doorbells and it worked fantastic, easy to use and you didn't have to app a secondary section just to reach the doorbell feed, which is important if you want to know who's lurking about at 3am. I moved homes and had to buy a new Nest Hello (had i known, i would absolutely have ripped out my old one and brought it with me and gave the new one to the buyers, that's how bad the Home app is). The Home app is as I stated slow, and clunky with the need to open the home app and then navigate to camera to open it up, as opposed to an instantaneous view. I have seen posts in the past (3 years ago) stating the same thing and getting a response from the mod saying that they are making improvements. Those "improvements" never came. The app still sucks, and it looks like you are forcing people with Nest thermostats to do the same, which will likely force me to not purchase the Nest thermostat if i need to move and just purchase something else. You guys are losing business, particularly so with people that have already experienced a great (Nest) app vs. the dog crap Home app. Y'all need to switch back to the Nest app.
