There was a problem connecting to the camera stream

I pay for Nest Aware. Some video events are recorded and I can view them as expected while some other video events are not viewable and show the error, "There was a problem connecting to the camera stream". There is audio, but no video. Is there any way to fix this? I have already tried factory resetting the doorbell.

Hey folks,

 

Restarting and factory resetting your Google Nest camera or doorbell will have different results:

 

Restart: Keeps all your settings, and it should reconnect to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever becomes frozen, has trouble reconnecting to the internet, or isn't working normally.

 

Factory reset: Erases all your settings and options, and restores its factory default settings. It will not automatically reconnect to Wi-Fi and you'll need to set it up again.

I have already attempted both of those solutions and they didn't work. Do you have other suggestions?

Hi Clayton.

 

I would suggest you reach out to Support then. It could be just about anything regarding your wifi speeds, type of wifi, your wifi channels, etc. I have not yet been given an answer by Google myself, so contact Support for further assistance.
