Unable to view Google Home Cameras on web interface

When using the Google Home web interface, I can only view my older Nest Device camera, but not the newer Google Home Camera and Doorbell. I have tried on multiple devices with the same result.

If you're having trouble viewing your newer Google Home Camera and Doorbell on the Google Home web interface, consider the following troubleshooting steps:

1. **Compatibility:** Ensure that your newer devices are compatible with the Google Home web interface. Check if there are any specific requirements or updates needed for these devices.

2. **Browser Compatibility:** Try using a different web browser to access the Google Home web interface. Some browsers may have compatibility issues.

3. **Clear Browser Cache:** Clear your browser's cache and cookies, then attempt to access the Google Home web interface again.

4. **Update Browser:** Ensure that your web browser is up-to-date. Outdated browsers may not fully support newer features.

5. **Device Firmware:** Check if there are any firmware updates available for your newer Google Home Camera and Doorbell. Updating the firmware may resolve compatibility issues.

6. **Google Account:** Ensure that you are signed in with the same Google account that is associated with your devices.

If the issue persists, you may want to reach out to Google Support for further assistance or check Google's official support forums for similar user experiences and solutions.

Hello,  Sadly,  yes,,, the older Gen 1 cameras that are accessed from the Nest App on your phone can be viewed on your computer at HOME.NEST.COM.    The newer Gen 2 camera which operate from the Google Home app on your phone can only be viewed at HOME.GOOGE.COM.   Also note that at the moment you can only view the LIVE image at this website.  Viewing the recorded clips is something Google is still working to bring us hopefully soon.

@EmptyNester Its actually the opposite! my older Nest camera streams just fine on home.google.com, where my newer ones never show images. Compatibility, firmware, etc. all checked and fine. All the cameras work fine within the app, but its the web interface that is giving issues, even on my same phone that the app is running on.

Hello,  wow,,, that is odd.   The next thing that comes to mind is can you try a different browser?  It sounds like something in the browser is preventing it from working.  Or maybe try a different computer just as a test.  If you still have the same issue in another browser then I think it is time for you to speak with an actual Google tech person.    Here is a link that lets you open a support ticket with Google.  Once you fill in the info there is an option to escalate to phone call.  It is a good idea to set aside about an hour as they will want to do some trouble shooting with you.

Good luck and let us know how if you figure out what is causing this problem.
