I have a battery powered doorbell, and a floodlight with a camera in my backyard. They’ve both been set up for a few months and I haven’t had this issue, but I accidentally let my doorbell die all the way the other day. Once I charged it, all of my video history was wiped from both of my devices. I’m confused because if one of them devices was still working, it doesn’t seem like everything should have been wiped. I charged my doorbell, and hooked it back up, but ever since then, my video history has been auto deleting every couple of hours. I’m having trouble finding a setting through the google home app to fix this issue. Any ideas?

Did you enroll in the 30-day free Nest Aware trial subscription? If you've had your cameras for a few months, it's probably expired if you had it. Do you have a paid Nest Aware subscription? If you do NOT have either, then, with the battery doorbell and floodlight camera, you get free event video history only for events occurring within the last 3 hours.
Charging your doorbell should have nothing to do with your video history. If your video history is auto deleting every couple of hours, it sounds like you do not have a Nest Aware subscription.
See the help pages below for information about Nest Aware subscriptions:

Hi there,
I apologize for my late response, and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I understand how upsetting this may be, and I'm happy to assist you with this. Were you previously on a Nest Aware trial? If that ended, that could be why you have lost all of your saved history. I would suggest you look into your Nest Aware subscription further to see if that was the cause. Here is a great link on how nest aware works and how to subscribe. In addition, here is a link on how to manage your subscription. Thanks for your help, @MplsCustomer.
Best regards,
Brad
