Viewing battery cams on computer? Timed notifications?

I've added two new "battery" cams (which I had to upgrade with the cable to constantly record.)

Is there a way to view these with a browser like the other Nest cams I have? Is there a way to create clips and share links like Nest cams can? I've only found a video export functionality in the mobile app.

Also: is there a way to only receive notifications during a certain time? Arlo cams can do this.

Unfortunately, Google Nest chose to make the new Google Nest cameras and doorbells (released starting in the fall of 2021) work ONLY in the Google Home app and NOT in the Google Nest app or on the home.nest.com website. As a result, they cannot be viewed with a browser, clips cannot be manually edited, there is no way to share a link to one of your cameras, and there is no "Schedule" function.

Here is Google Nest's Vice President's take on this approach, from a year ago (no updates since):

Thanks, I had the feeling it was like that. They've really fumbled this in a massive way. I'd love to hear an official response though. They made no announcement that the new cameras had important features removed, and they sold them as an update to the current line of cameras. If they really have no plans to fix this, I am guessing there's a lawyer somewhere who could make the case for a class action.
