What does it means if Nest outdoor cam's (battery) LED is off?

Hi,
today had purchased and setup outdoor cam (battery).

After the successful setup, cam stops responding at all. LED went completely off.
If I plug the power cord, LED is solid green but cam is still offline in the app. If cord unplug, LED remain solid green for several seconds then goes OFF.
Battery was 80% at the moment of installation (1 hour ago).
Rebooted it several times using the button. Also factory reset and reinstalled. No progress.
Has no more idea what to do.
Thinking about a manufacturing defect or dead battery...

That does not sound right at all.  We've had a battery camera for 2-1/2 years.  You could return it to the retailer for a replacement, or contact Support:

1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.
