Can someone explain WHY these Nest Cameras do not appear in the Nest app? When can we expect it?
I specifically wanted cameras that I can observe from a web browser while at work. I had my nest Doorbell do exactly that with the Nest dashboard so I had NO IDEA I couldn't do the same with the nest Cameras. Why was this allowed on the IQ Nest cameras, but not THESE nest cameras?!
If there is no expected ETA for Nest integration, can you just say so? I want to return these right away if nest integration is not on the horizon. What the hell.

My understanding is it won't happen ever., The Nest App is being phased out to be replaced with a more seamless experience within the Google home app

You are yet another customer who has discovered that the new Google Nest cameras and doorbells released starting in the fall of 2021 work only in the Google Home app and NOT in the Google Nest app or on the home.nest.com website.
Google's explanation can be found in these blogs on this forum, along with customer reactions:

Hey folks,
Thank you for your feedback on this issue, I fully understand the frustrations of not having your new Nest Cams in the Nest App or available on https://bit.ly/3HtBgJC web app. I can imagine having to use two different apps at the moment is quite daunting, and could lead to frustration.
However, the new Nest cameras and doorbell are exclusive to the Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience with your speakers and displays. A Nest Aware subscription applies to all of your cameras, speakers, and displays in the same home structure. Thank you for your continued patience, and support. I am more than happy to assist you further with this inquiry if you wish. Please let me know.
Best Regards,
Brad.
