Where is the MAC address for cameras in the Home app?

How do I find the MAC address for my Google Nest Cams (battery) in the Home app?

I just installed a new Router and my Nest Cam IP addresses have changed.

The Google Home App shows Device ID, Serial No, and IP; but the MAC address is missing and the IP address is wrong (as assigned by the old router).

Apparently, the old Nest App showed current MAC and IP addresses, but Google Home does not.

Thanks in advance for your help.

The MAC address of newer Nest camera devices aren’t available on the Google Home app, unfortunately. Assuming they're connected to Wi-Fi, you'll see them in your router's settings. That just leaves the challenge of identifying which one is which. Hopefully, you can turn off all but 1 camera at a time and your router has a view that shows active connections.

Good suggestion, but my router (T-Link Deco XE5300) shows live connections with my 6 newer cams even 45 minutes after turning all the cams "Off" in the Google Home app.  In my Deco app I can see the IP and MAC addresses for all 6 cams, but I don't know which is which.

All six are battery cams with a USB live power connection. Unplugging the USB power has no effect on their connection to the router.

I could try using the "Remove device" option in each cam's settings and later individually "Add" them back into the app. That seems like a lot of busy work just to find the IP or MAC address of these cams.

Any other ideas?

Thanks in advance.

I don't have any other ideas, I'm afraid. I can't think of another way you could find the MAC addresses.

I'll try the "Remove device" option when I have the time, and I'll report the results here. Thanks again.
