Why do you lock all complaints about cameras?

It seems that every complaint on here and let's just say there are plenty of them is always closed down by Google and locked. It's almost as if you think that quieting people down will make the problems go away. I've had an issues on here that you have put down as resolved, despite multiple people sharing the same concerns. Every time someone commented saying it was a fix, I replied saying that it did not work.  All of the fixes were token gestures to get me overly frustrated with this whole process and just quit.  Just for the record, we don't expect to have to reset our cameras every day.  These cameras are completely unreliable and will not connect when required. You'll get a notification saying someone is at the door , and it'll immediately be unavailable.

I recently charged one of these cameras and was unable to get it to connect again. I was not even able to connect on the app to forget it from the network. There is no way to do a reset. It is basically a lump of plastic. I bought three of these things only ever put two in because they are so useless. I'm now trying to connect the third one and the software update is going to take an excessive 2 hours. How ridiculous!

My suggestion is to never get one of these cameras. Tell all your friends that they are useless . I'm now reconsidering whether I actually want to continue with the Google ecosystem. It is full of bugs and connection issues even amongst Google branded products.

I hate Apple but i've got to tell you this Google will never be Apple.

Stick to search engines. Your sincerely, a disappointed customer.

They do that to hide how bad their products are.  I've had nothing but problems with the cameras and support has been useless.  I've given up and I'm in the process of switching to a different brand.

Yeah I did some research last night.  I am prepared to pay double for something that actually works now.  Absolute garbage.  Tried to download software on one last night and 3 hours later was at 40% then just stopped and said "there is a problem".  So basically I need to have my phone next to this camera for over 6 hours to update it.  It's a joke.

Worst camera system ever. I can’t get ours to work since it switched to Google.

@matt3, what type of Nest Camera do you have? For reset, you may visit our public article about "Restart or factory reset Nest camera or doorbell".

@mrmagloo, please share your case ID here so that we can take a closer look at what happened.

Looking forward to your response.

I've been waiting for a response for my work order on this for two weeks.  All I got, after acknowledging the poor focus on 1.69 was that I still had to uninstall and reset all of the cameras.  Then they all disappeared never to respond again.
