I’ve had my doorbell for nearly 3 years, wired in to a chime with internal transformer. I’ve recently moved and took the doorbell with me but not the chime.
So I installed it with the same chime however I was having issues when the doorbell was pressed and it subsequently turning off. Occasionally it wasn’t turning on until it stopped working altogether. So I swapped the chime for a straight transformer, 240 to 12/24. Trialling both options with no luck. I’ve plugged the device in via the micro usb port and still no luck with power.
is the doorbell dead dead and due a replacement or are there any easy fixes that I’m missing.
many thanks.
