Wired nest doorbell but need a wireless chime

Hi.  I have just had a wired gen2 doorbell installed with a wired chime box.  The chime is not loud enough to hear in the loft.  Can i connect my Nest speaker to be a chime and if so how?   Any other options as right now the wired doorbell isn't much use.  Thanks

You can turn on "Visitor announcements" to get a chime and announcement on your Nest Minis and Nest Hubs:

Hello folks,

@damo1005, thanks for reaching out here in the Community. The Nest Doorbell (wired, 2nd gen) has higher power requirements than most doorbells. You need a transformer that is rated for 16-24 V AC, 10-40 VA to provide enough power to your doorbell. If you've already installed your doorbell and you see a blinking yellow light on the front, your doorbell isn't receiving enough power. Also, were you able to follow the steps for Visitors announcements from the link shared above? Let us know your update here.

I appreciate your response, MplsCustomer.

Regards,

Emerson
