Woke up to a car break-in. Went to check the cameras, and the history on all 3 of our cameras (2 Nest Outdoor and One Doorbell Cam) was wiped. All show "No events recorded" for days prior to today. This is one of our homes in the Google Home app; ironically the camera history from our other home is intact (for all 5 cameras there).
Our neighbor is a computer whiz kid and on house arrest, and I'm wondering if there is ANY WAY he could have broken into my car, hacked into Google Home, and wiped the video history. Or, how else could this happen?

If you are certain that no one in your household inadvertently deleted your video history, perhaps you should first consider protecting yourself by changing the password on your Google Account.
You could also check recent activity on your gmail account:

Thank you. I will check my activity as well as my husband's - we are the only two with access to Google Home. We will also change our passwords.

Hi there,
Thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community forum. How's your Nest Camera video history? Were you already able to check your recent activity? Keep us posted.
I appreciate your help, @MplsCustomer.
Best,
Jenelyn

Hi - It turned out we didn't have the Nest Aware subscription, so the history was not saved. However, we signed up and are now saving the recordings. It's too bad that we missed the ne'er do well that riffled through my car, but oh well. Thankfully it wasn't worse.
