I have read all of the previous posts on this subject and can choose 2.4Ghz for my camera. However, I can not change network name and password in the Nest app. You have to have the code from the camera to be able to do that. When our camera was installed, we did not have the opportunity to get the codes from the camera. It is mounted up high above our garage door and we are not able to get up there to take a look. Is there any way that this can be solved? With all of our other devices, we can easily change wifi settings in apps or on the device. Not with Nest.... very frustrating.

Unfortunately, you need the 6-character Setup Code that is printed somewhere on the camera. Because of this, years ago we started writing down those Setup Codes so we wouldn't have to dismount our cameras and doorbells.

Hi folks,
Marjorie, if your camera is mounted up high and you can’t scan the QR code or read the 6 digit entry key. I recommend contacting a Nest Pro near your area.
MplsCustomer is right, it’s better to write down the 6 digit entry key so you wouldn't need to dismount the camera every time you change your router settings.
I appreciate your help, MplsCustomer.
Thanks,
JT
