Hi khuss,

Thanks for posting here in the Community. I'm sorry to hear about the connectivity issues with your Nest Camera. But no need to worry, help is here.

Before we get started with further troubleshooting, let me ask you some questions:

  • What generation of Nest Camera do you have? 1st Generation or 2nd Generation?

Important Considerations:

In most of the cases the Nest Camera will need to be removed manually from the old account and a factory reset is necessary before relocating it into another account.

The blue light pulse is a crucial indicator that your Nest Camera is ready for setup. If it's not pulsing, it can hinder the setup process.

Power and Reset:

  • Ensure the camera is fully charged or connected to power.
  • Make sure to perform a factory reset as established on the help center. This should trigger a blue light pulse after release.
  • Ensure there are no physical obstructions blocking the camera's sensors or preventing the blue light from being visible.

Verify Wi-Fi Network Connection:

  • Other Devices: Check if other Wi-Fi devices in your home are connected and functioning normally. If not, the issue might lie with your Wi-Fi network itself.
  • Signal Strength: Ensure your Nest Camera is receiving a strong Wi-Fi signal. If it's far from your router, consider:
    • Moving it closer: A stronger signal can improve connection stability.
    • Using a Wi-Fi extender: If relocating isn't feasible, an extender can boost the signal in that area.

Follow the steps from this guide to Fix Nest camera or doorbell Wi-Fi connection issues and to Troubleshoot Nest camera and doorbell setup messages (even if there is no specific error).

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Regards,

Mario
