event video history.

I would appreciate some clarity on the event video history with no subscription

Does it record 3 hours of events keep it, or does it only keep recordings for 3 hours?

Ie, if it takes a 15 minute recording at 7am, does it then delete that recording at 10am? Or if it takes a 15 minute recording at 7am can i still view that recording tomorrow so  long as a total of 3 hours video has not been recorded?

It’s your first scenario. If recording starts at 7AM, by 10AM the initial history starts being deleted.

The video dissapears 3 hours after it records. You can download the video to keep as long as you do it before the three hours are up. I have people and motion for my alerts and it only records for these alerts. I stood up and set back down and it made a 25 second video,

Thanks.

Kinda wouldnt help if you went to bed and your car was broken into overnight would it. I think its disgraceful that the footage is deleted after 3 hours. they are basically forcing the subscription onto you.

Thanks for that.

i just cant see why this is acceptable. They are expensive cameras and are basically unfit for purpose unless you get the subscription too. Thats not okay in my book.
