finish on Nest Hello doorbell cracking and peeling **updated**

I started an earlier post and I received notice that a solution had been reached and I would be contacted by email...  that never happened.

I received notice yesterday that the thread had been resolved and the thread was now closed..

I have NOT been contacted nor was a resolution reached...  I still  have 2 crappy looking doorbells greeting my guests...

please advise me as to what is going on
