Just installed the doorbell gen 2. The transformer puts out 18 volts and I verified it with my volt meter. When i turn on the power the blue light on the camera comes on but I do not see a light on the ringer nor does the doorbell ring. To debug, i reinstalled, did a factory reset and still no change. My thought is that the unit in defective. Not sure if I can do anything else before I return it.

I did including doing the factory reset. I've reinstalled it several times. The transformer is putting out 18 volts so it is getting the proper power.
