Same problem, It seems like the New Google devices like doorbell and nest cams wont work with the nest app.

I have same problem, and that is ridiculous!

Yep, these new cameras are 2 steps forward and about 50 steps backwards. This is terrible.

I also have the same problem. Now considering returning the battery-powered doorbell to Google

Same problem. If this isn’t fixed soon then I’m for sure returning my new doorbell.

Similar issue with the new wire indoor camera. All the older cameras still work with Alexa but none of the new ones sink to the google home app.
I am having problems adding the 2021 model cameras to Alexa control. Tried to disable and reenable the nest camera app. Only picks up the older cameras and thermostats. Hoping google resolves issue quickly…

Indeed, same problem with me and the new Nest Indoor wired camera, bought it to use as a nanny cam and my Alexa show but it is useless, I cannot connect to Alexa skill since it does not appear as an available device on the next home.
It is preposterous that Google cannot migrate Nest home properly and forget about the Alexa integration. Google home is not a replacement for Alexa.

I ended up just buying a Google Nest Mini and it does the job just fine (announcing people and packages at the front door etc.) Still would prefer Alexa integration, but fine for now.

Yes this is ridiculous and I didn't realize it when purchasing the devices. Although they look great, the lack of compatibility with Alexa is disappointing. Even though I also have Google Assistant, their routine and IFTTT shortcomings are a big negative.

Has the issue of the Google doorbell (battery) and Alexa integration been already resolved by Google?

I have yet to see a Google rep even acknowledge this thread. I guess we won't see Jack ship until the new smart integration standard roll out, matter. https://buildwithmatter.com/

Same issue. Many articles and google's support page claim it is east to do but that is false. I would have never purchased this item if I had known of this issue and I might return it.

Contact support and ask them I suppose. Side note: I called support when I received mine as the instructions say you can wire the unit to a doorbell with a resister, and there is a link during install for information, but the link says nothing about what size resister is needed. They tried to say an electrition would "know" what to do but wouldn't they need to know what the design calls for?

same issue ... please remediate ASAP ... i am thinking i should return this stupid thing and for the price its too expensive to not integrate seemlessly
