nest doorbell and camera not sending push notifications. I have checked all settings on app and on phone.

Happened to me over the past couple of weeks, reinstalling the home app makes things work for a day then it's off again. I get no notifications from the cameras at all anymore. Not changed anything . 3rd call to Google due but I can't be bothered. Obviously something software related

Do you have notifications turned on under Settings | Notifications | Nest in your iPhone settings, and do you have "Push notifications" turned on in the Google Nest app under Settings | Notifications for each of your cameras with "When to send" set to "Always"?

Since you're using the Google Nest app and therefore have the the older 1st gen Google Nest cameras and doorbells, I'm guessing notifications WERE working, and recently quit working. Were there any changes to your Wi-Fi network or to the devices you're using, such as your iPhone?

You could try deleting and reinstalling your Google Nest app. If that does not work, it would seem that SOMETHING has changed, since it affects your doorbell and your camera. But you could try contacting Support:
1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.

Oddly, I actually was spurred on to email Google rather than complete a call or chat after previously posting here and the day after my email, the notifications are back but I didn't get an email reply at all. Working again but defo a software issue.

I have tried to e-mail and contact google but have not been successful -could you share the e-mail address you used so I can also contact them - I have tried and tried but no luck. Still no push notifications and I have tried everything under the sun...Thanks

Notifications started to work late last night / early tomorrow.
They fixed by themselves... Most probably a server side issue on Google Home / Nest.
