nest hello wired

I understand that nest hello (battery) will work with echo show and announce when someone presses the doorbell but will it work with nest hello (wired) ?

I found these instructions.  see if this helps.  Keep in mind if this has a chance of working you MUST have migrated your account from Nest over to Google (most people have done this by now).

Still not working. The instructions refer to nest hello (battery). Does this mean that nest hello (wired) does not work?

Just saw a You Tube video that said under settings for the doorbell, even though I have a mechanical chime, check off that I have an electronic chime and  enter 3 seconds for chime duration. Voila, the chime worked. Strange.
