"Couldnt Connect" on settings. Google Home Cameras

I'm trying to add a user to my cameras. However, when I click settings it says couldn't connect. Why? I've forced stopped, changed my Google password, reset my phone and it still won't work.

@LucyV

You don't add users to cameras; you add a person to your Google Nest "household" in the Google Home app (thee other person needs a gmail account), and once that person accepts the invitation, they can log into the Google Home app with their gmail and access the cameras.

Where are you clicking on "Settings" when you say it doesn't connect?

Perhaps you want to contact Support so you can explain your issue:

1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.

Hi folks,

Thanks for chiming in, @MplsCustomer

@LucyV, uh-oh! I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing difficulty adding a user to your cameras and receiving a "couldn't connect" error message when accessing settings. What type of Nest Camera do you have? How far have you gotten in adding a new user to your device? And what is the exact error message that shows on the app that prevents you from proceeding?

Keep us posted.

Best,

Zoe
