my camera does not always pick up activity

Thanks for posting here in the community. I'm sorry to hear your Nest Cam doesn't pick up activity. I'm happy to help!

 

To better understand the situation, I'd like to ask a few questions:

 

  • What kind of Nest camera do you have?
  • Are you signed into the Nest app or Google Home App?
  • Did you receive any notifications in the past?
  • Were there any changes to the Wi-Fi network?
  • How far is the Wi-Fi router from the camera?
  • Has the camera been moved recently?
  • Are there any Activity Zones set up for the camera?
  • Is the Airplane or Do Not Disturb mode turned off or on?
