Hi,
I bought 3 nest cameras off eBay where the previous owner had factory reset them. 2 of them set up exactly a you'd expect, quite straightforward. The 3rd however wouldn't turn on or do anything when plugged in. Eventually I tried the reset button and the white light came on for a bit. After about a minute, the light went green and within the camera came a shutter like clicking sound. When holding the reset button for 10 seconds the light stays white and by 12 seconds, it remains white. Normally by now the light would be amber and the countdown chime would start. But on this camera, nothing. Just the green light eventually comes on and makes the clicking sound. When trying to find the camera in the Google Home app 'add device' setup it is never found, no matter if it's the white or green light showing.
I've reset nest cameras before so know what to expect. I have a big Google Home set up so know my way around the home app. I've tried probably 10 times, even pressing the reset button quite hard on the last few attempts, holding for over a minute and nothing.
The previous owner said they were all working when they had them. Given they've 100% positive feedback and 100s of buys and sells, I believe them.
Please help.

Hi Mario,
I have the nest cam (battery). I have the QR code and I have tried over 10 times to follow the factory reset process that is described in the link you provided. The reset process doesn't work and I've described exactly what happens in my original post. There's a green light and physical shutter sound that comes from within the camera. No orange light, no countdown chime which would be normal.

To add, the device is fully charged. I am running Android on a Google pixel 7 pro with the latest version of the Google home app. I have never been able to connect the camera to my phone or the home app. It's never been discoverable like the other cameras.
