view nest doorbell 'person seen' on google nest hub

So my google nest hub is great when someone actually rings the doorbell; I can quickly see them and either talk to them or send a message. But if someone comes to the door without ringing the bell, the doorbell sends a 'person seen' notification to my phone, which I can even see on my watch, but not on the google nest hub! This can't be right, surely? I don't seem to be able to review 'recent events' on the nest hub, either? Pretty annoying as I basically only bought the thing to use as a video doorbell!

Google Nest's doorbells do not have the ability to send a "Person" or "Motion" notification to our Nest Hubs, even though numerous customers in this forum have asked for it.

Thank you. That appears to be a major shortcoming. How difficult can it be?
