The volume rocker has stopped working from Netflix/prime yet again. No amount of phone or Chromecast restarting has helped. It barely works when on the device screen in the home app, one in every 15 presses might move the volume. This was working without issue 24 hours ago.

I am sorry about the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that volume issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as I can imagine this issue is quite frustrating. First, check to make sure that your Chromecast is up-to-date on it's firmware. Then, make sure your Android is up-to-date as well. If the problem is still occurring after the updates, go ahead and factory reset the Chromecast device.

I've checked and everything appears to be up to date, factory reset the Chromecast and no change in behaviour.

No problem at all, if you would like, I could have someone from a higher tier of support to reach out to you to find out what problem is occurring. They would have more tools than I would when it comes to the internals of the software. You would just need to fill out this form.
