Blacks on chrome cast are fuzzy blue

MilesThompson7

Hi.
I am using my chrome cast on LG tv.
the blacks appear a fuzzy blue. Have messed around with Backlight etc and other picture modes - all connections seem good on the physical device.
It is not doing it on normal TV output for the TV. Only when on chrome cast. Any help appreciated

Test your Chromecast on another tv to see if the issue is replicated there.  If not, then try it on another HDMI port on your tv, if that fixes it then it's your tvs HDMI port causing the issue, if it happens on other ports and other tvs then it could be a fault of the Chromecast, and first step would be a factory reset to see if that resolves it.

First, verify the Chromecast color format settings and choose the right YCbCr format.
