Can Chromecast HD mirror embedded video playing on a website on my android phone to a TV? If I click fullscreen on the embedded video player, will it mirror the fullscreen video to the TV?

Unfortunately, there is no way to know without trying.

Mirroring is different than casting and some websites put protection in place that might block mirroring.   They do that to try and thwart screen-recording systems that pirates use.

Whenever possible, it's best to use cast-enabled sites.  There are literally 10s of thousands of them.  Check with the site you want to use and see if it already supports casting.
