Can’t pair Voice Remote

I bought a Stadia Premiere edition but wanted to use more of the features so I bought a Voice Remote from the Google store but I’m unable to pair it.

Chromecast voice remote is designed for and will only pair with Chromecast with Google TV. It won't work with any other Chromecast model.
