Can't play most music i try and play. There is no wellbeing setting. Home minis work.

Just as title states. I figured out how to fix the problem with my home mini's but there is no similar option to allow explicit songs on my chromecast? why am i so limited?

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. You seem to be able to cast on your Chromecast 2nd Gen, except for certain contents that seem to be restricted. This is most likely related to restrictions or digital wellbeing settings on your YouTube account. The Chromecast device’s task is to cast, and as long as it’s doing that, it knows it has done its job. The Chromecast device itself has no control over app or account features such as captions, subtitles, language, content controls, parental controls, etc. This all goes to the app or the account. I suggest you give our friends at the YouTube Help Community a shout. Different users may already know how to make this work and must have shared it. You can directly reach out to YouTube Help for immediate or live assistance from their support team.
