I have Chromecast with remote. I using it with my TV - Cloudwalker (CLOUD TV 43SU) .
In order to switch to Google TV / or anything on chromecast, I have to use the main remote to switch on the TV and later switch the mode to HDMI-1/2/3 .
Is it possible to make sure the control is only on Google TV remote and I do not want to use main TV remote at all. ?
My friend using Amazon Firestick with Sony TV and it works for him.

The Chromecast remote is going to be very limited. What you can do depends on your particular TV.
For mine, I can turn the TV on but not off (though, once I turn the Chromecast off, my TV notices and turns itself off about a minute later). I can switch inputs. I can change the volume.
But, I cannot do anything with the cable box or with the other menus that my TV has.
For me, the remote works fine for anything that doesn't need to give direction to my cable box and I don't use my TV's remote at all.

Hi folks,
Thanks for the help here, Byteguy.
ishakrishna, I just want to add more info about this. Please take note that although there are TV brands that can be set up for Chromecast with Google TV however, not pairable/compatible with the Voice Remote.
As a workaround, you may try to choose a different brand from the list, which in your view has the same country of manufacture as the TV. You may also search for TV remote codes online and see if any other brand matches the same code as Cloud TV, and select that other brand instead. However, please be informed that this step may or may not work.
Thanks,
Jennifer
