Cant connect to Wifi without Mac address- Mac address unavailable

I am unable to set up wifi without the MAC address of my device. When looking for MAC address, my device tells me to look on the device itself. I dont see the MAC address on my device.

Thanks for reaching out. You can locate the MAC address of your Chromecast during initial setup. Here's how: From the Connect to Wi-Fi screen, at the top right, tap the 3 dots > Tap Show MAC address.

Note: If you have a Chromecast with Google TV, you will not be able to locate the MAC address during the initial setup. If you experience any issue setting up your Chromecast with the Google Home app, please set it up using the Chromecast Voice Remote instead.
