Caps out of sync multiple apss

Captions are out of sync when using multiple apps...hbo, xfinity  amazon prime,....but only when using chromecast....if I cast using a smart tv same apps....no issues

Hello RosanaBaron,

 

Thanks for reaching out. What type of Chromecast device do you have? Please try to reinstall the affected apps and reboot your Chromecast and Wi-Fi router. Plugging it on a different HDMI port and resetting it might also help.

I'm sorry for the late response. Could you please try to use a different phone and check if the same issue persists? Also, please try the additional steps below:

 

  1. Close any battery-draining applications that may be running on your mobile phone or computer.
  2. Close and relaunch the app, then try to cast the same content again.
  3. Try decreasing the distance between the TV, router, and mobile phone or computer.

I have 2 phones and 1 tablet … I had tried all and same  issue… I have one chromecast 2nd gen and one 3rd ….same  issue mainly when  using stream xfinity and hbo… prime sometimes not always …. Netflix never… cw never…. When I stream directly to a smart tv no issues… after all my tests ( more than 1 year) it seams that is a chromecast issue
