Chromecast 2nd gen Mexico City central time is wrongly applying summer time

This week chromecast started to wrongfully display the time in Mexico City Central Standard Time timezone. This appears to be because this is the first time that summer time will not be applied in Mexico City timezone but chromecast devices still have the instruction to apply the summer time hour increase(Right now is 9pm but chromecast displays 10pm). Is there some update that will fix this issue? I know I can try to change the timezone to one that does not apply the summer time but that should not be the solution.

There are multiple reports like yours in this forum, where Google Nest's database apparently has an incorrect timezone for parts or all of Mexico, as well as other areas of the world:

There is currently no solution. They haven't added a time zone selector nor they haven't updated the time zone changes in their side since they were enacted last October.

Both MplsCustomer and Zaplight25 are correct. Google is working on getting those issues corrected. Unfortunately, I haven't been given an ETA on when this issue will be resolved. If you don't mind, would you be able to submit feedback on this issue? The more feedback Google receives regarding a problem, the more likely they are to prioritize it.
