When my mobile device disconnects from Chromecast, the default image shown on my TV screen is some sort of standard landscape - a waterfall, some hills etc. All delightful images, however in my settings in the Home app I have selected my own Google Photo album to be displayed. Now, after a few seconds, the photo album is eventually shown, however I would like the album to be shown as the default source, and not go via the waterfall first before beginning my photo album!
Is there any way I can force Chromecast to use the setting I have made, rather using the traditional ambient settings first.
Thanks

Hi there,
This is something that happens when the device is checking what settings are set for the ambient display and should only last a few seconds.
As this is a community forum supported by other users and community specialist's you would need to leave feedback for the Google Nest requesting this is changed in the future.
