I got a new router and my Chromecast is refusing to connect to it. The Google Home App says "Connection failed-Couldn't connect to Chromecast. Make sure local network access is enabled for the Home app in your phone's privacy settings. Then try again."
Local network access is enabled and I tried again but got the same error. I did a factory reset on the Chromecast but got the same error again. Currently it's rapidly flashing white.
Try these steps:
If none of the steps above help, factory reset your Chromecast and then retry setup. You may also want to try setup using a different phone or tablet, just to test, if you have one.
