The non responsive applications you have on your Google Chromecast with Google TV were installed directly from the PlayStore for Google TV or they were side loaded? What applications are we talking about?
Is Google Chromecast with Google TV connected directly to a TV HDMI port or via some HDMI witch?
Do you have any USB-C powered hub connected to Google Chromecast with Google TV? Are there any peripherals connected to the USB-C powered hub?
Have you tried to unplug the Google Chromecast with Google TV power adaptor from the main power grid for at least 25 seconds?
It may be a good idea to set your Google Chromecast with Google TV on manual update mode, to be able to see when system or application updates are available and to control yourself if and when to apply an update. That way you give yourself an opportunity and time to verify the effects of an update, before you decide to apply it.
Have you tried contacting Google Chromecast support team? What was their assessment?

I'm having the exact same issue. I've been trying to fix it to no avail for the last 2 days.

I should add that this issue started 2 days ago on my 1st generation Chromecast, which is why I upgraded to the Chromecast with remote. I notice there is an old 'Family Room TV' device still visible on my Google home app, but I cannot get rid of it. I wonder if it is causing this issue.

Hey there!
We haven't heard back from Farpoint107 or Irvy, and it's been a few days, so I'm locking the thread. As always, feel free to make a new thread if you have any more questions or concerns.
Thank you for your help, djtetei!
Best regards,
Jeran
