Chromecast Ultra Bluetooth Speaker

I'm trying to use these instructions to pair my Chromecast Ultra to a bluetooth speaker, but there is no "Paired Bluetooth Device" option in the Audio settings.

I am sorry, the Ultra cannot connect to Bluetooth speakers.

The only Chromecast model that can do that is the Chromecast with Google TV (the oblong one that comes with a remote).

Can you please provide your source? The help page I linked does not show this restriction, and is the very page Google sends me to when I search "connect chromecast ultra to bluetooth speaker."

@Snails, it is true that the Chromecast Ultra can’t be paired with Bluetooth speakers. The only versions that can do that are the Google TV versions. If you read the link you sent, nothing indicates anything about the Chromecast Ultra. It is about Google Nest or Home devices. Let us know if you still have questions.

Did you see that this is the first link in Google when you search for "connect chromecast ultra to bluetooth speaker"? You should probably talk to your community managers about that.

Thanks for the reply. The title Play music on Bluetooth speakers or headphones showed up based on the string "bluetooth speaker" from your search phrase "connect chromecast ultra to bluetooth speaker". It didn’t give you the steps because Chromecast Ultra, Chromecast 3rd Gen, Chromecast 2nd Gen, and Chromecast 1st Gen all don't work with Bluetooth speakers. Chromecast with Google TV (4K or HD) would, but not the previous versions. I hope this clarifies any confusion. Let me know if you still have questions.

It may be the first option that pops up when you search for it, but that doesn’t change the fact that Chromecast Ultra doesn't connect to Bluetooth speakers. The new Google TV versions of Chromecast devices now have this feature. Let me know if you have other questions.
