Chromecast Ultra cannot cast Disconnected from Wifi - Asus AX11000 router

As per title my Chromecast Ultra is having issues. I have factory reset the Ultra, set up new home and device room. When i go through the procedure it errors with "Disconnected Device" - 'connect to your wi-fi to cast'. message (picture attached).

Phone is iphone Xs Max software version 14.7.1

PC Windows  10 (high end rig 10700k ect)

Router ASUS AX11000

Please help... This is killing me not being able to cast.

I apologize about the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that connection issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:

  • When did this issue start happening?
  • What color is the LED light on the Chromecast?
  • Are you able to connect to the Chromecast from another device, such as a computer or tablet?
  • Are you using a dual-band router?
