Chromecast blinking to blank screen for 1 to 2 seconds while playing YouTube tv

My chromecast is connected to my LG tv via hdmi port. While watching tv through chromecast/googletv on youtubetv app, I get a black screen for 1 or 2 seconds during any show or recording in the YT app

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries, we'll check this out. When did it start happening? Is the Chromecast plugged correctly into the TV and power source? Is there any LED light on the Chromecast and TV while this is happenning? Also, have you tried any troubleshooting steps to fix this?
