Chromecast disconnects when playing Youru9

Hi! 

I've found a previous thread that is now locked but is about the same issue:

Since Android 12 update, every time I cast a video from the YouTube app on my Pixel 5 to Chromecast, the video disconnects after a few second or minutes.

I have:

Reset my router

Reset Chromecast

Cast from incognito mode on the YouTube app.

I have not uninstalled the home app because I'm afraid all the data will be lost.

What more can I do?

I apologize about the late response on this thread, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that disconnecting issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as I know constant disconnecting makes for a terrible experience. Let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:

 

  • When did this issue start happening?
  • Are you having this issue when casting from any other app?
  • Does this occur when casting from another device, such as a computer or tablet?
  • Do you get any kind of error message when this happens?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
