As long as your TV's USB port is capable of 5V, 1A then yes, Otherwise it won't provide Chromecast with enough power. I'd recommend checking your TV's manual or support information to confirm.

Thanks davidking. When I've looked, the TV ports are labelled "USB In", so decided to use different solution to cast to tv

Hi. I have Google Pixel 2 phone (old) and I want to cast/mirror my photos/videos from the storage on this android to my new 77" LG OLED C2 4K HDR UHD 120hz made in (2022). I have been researching and from what I've read I need a Chromecast to plug into the TV. And, also I will need to download a good up-to-date app on my Google Pixel 2 from the Google Play Store, to be able to cast/mirror. Any recommendations on which Chromecast product will be the best for this beast of a new TV-Chromecast 2, or Chromecast Ultra? I tried through my PS4, my Amazon 4K Firestick and apps on the Firestick like YouTube and Amazon and it didn't work, because I guess that I can only make it work with a Chromecast, because of my phone being a Google Pixel and it is kind of old. Thank you for reading, I hope you can help. ☺️

Hi DroopyDog20,
Chiming in, we appreciate your interest in getting our devices. Both Chromecast Ultra and Chromecast with Google TV support the feature by enabling Ambient mode or manually casting your photos/album. The only difference is, the Chromecast with Google TV has a voice remote with Google Assistant and brings you entertainment from many popular services, including live TV, movies, and music.
Here's some helpful links:
Hope this helps,
