Chromecast is not working

I’m unable to connect my phone with my chromecast no matter the app (Netflix, Spotify, HBO, YouTube, Google Home) it doesn’t connect to any application, it’s not even visible on the available devices.

Quick question: are you getting a message " No cast destination found" when casting from a Chromecast-enabled app? If yes, please try the steps listed below:

 

  1. Make sure your mobile phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast.
  2. If you have the Wi-Fi Assist setting turned on in your iOS device, please turn it off to make sure your device will only connect to your Wi-Fi network
  3. Turn on Local Network Access in your iOS device.
  4. Reboot your iOS device.
  5. Reboot your Chromecast.
