I recently replaced my old 1st generation Chromecast with a new one of the 3rd generation. I successfully activated it with Device Utility, set it up with Google Home and I can now cast to it. I invited my 3 other family members so that they could cast to it too, but my mother (using a Huawei p20 pro with EMUI 12.0) and my sister (iPhone Xr with iOS 16) can't use; they see the device in the Google Home app but when they press on it they get the following message:

Both of them are connected to the right wifi network and my sister has activated local network access.
My father, on the other hand, can cast on it with no problems using a Xiaomi with Android 10.
Is there any known fix?

Thanks for reaching out and for providing detailed information on your issue — these are of great help.
You can try to force close and reopen the Google Home app on their phone. If that did not work uninstall and reinstall the Google Home app, then observe if this will make a difference. Rebooting their phone might help too.
