I saw a previous thread that was closed, so making a new one. I bought a my Chromecast a few months ago and over the past month it reboots itself over and over. I’ve tried the factory reset three times without success. I went to exchange it for another one, but was told I’ve had it too long to do an exchange, so I bought a new one. Second one does the same thing. 10 minutes into my first show it rebooted and has done so many times since then. I haven’t tried other power supplies since I’m using the one it came with, so I guess I’ll try that next. Very annoying.

Hello FippyDarkpaw,
Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with your Chromecast. Let's sort this out.
A few questions: what type of Chromecast device do you have? What mobile phone are you using for casting? Did the video buffer or pixelate before it stopped casting?
Try these steps:
Thanks,
Jennifer

I think I found my issue the other day…guess I should have posted an update. I was using the power adapter and cable it came with, but also had a usb extender cable in line with it. I took the usb extension cable out and haven’t had issues since. BTW I wasn’t casting, I was just watching Netflix, Vudu, etc apps or just scrolling through the main menu and it would reboot constantly. Sometimes it would reboot over and over for 45 mins never even getting to the homepage before rebooting again. Guess my extension cable had a high resistance connection dropping the supply voltage.
